Claims Handling

Day-to-day claims are handled in-house, complex claims requiring specialist, expert advice or opinion are outsourced to individuals or organisations that we have previously worked with and are well known to us. Outsourced claims are handled in conjunction with our own claims personnel.

This process helps to minimise costs and is not prejudicial to our services. The importance of efficient claims handling cannot be underestimated and we aim to assist our Shipowners as much as we possibly can.

We have an existing network of Global Representatives that are located in excess of 250 Ports world-wide and are available 24 hours, 7 days a week. These locally based representatives are an important ingredient in our overall claims handling process.
